    Oru Manithan Oru Veedu Oru Ulagam (One Man, One House, One World) is a Tamil novel written by Jayakanthan, one of the most influential and prolific writers of modern Tamil literature. The novel was first published in 1970 and won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1972. 

    The novel tells the story of a nameless man who lives in a slum and wanders around the city without any sense of identity, belonging, or purpose. He encounters various people and situations that challenge his views on life, society, and himself. He also meets a woman named Kamala, who becomes his companion and lover.
