Brujula member and organizer, Damaris Ferrer, sent each of us a packet of things to play with. The packet contains handmaid paper objects that roughly resemble a circular performance stage. Along with the circular stage and accoutrement, Ferrer designed a unique paper performer for each of us. Through playing with this paper set, we are trying to spark our compositional imagination for a project that may be.
Day 1
Day 1
I knew I wanted to make stop motion videos for this play project. This is the first trial. I couldn't get the dowels to stand in their holders so I'll have to work on making those functional. The circle paper is the imagined circle performance space, it is to scale, 10in = 10ft.
This is the gif I made on the 1st day as well. I really enjoy making these on my phone. The tools I used for this are PhotoLayers app, and Motionleap app on android.
Day 2
I've been pretty busy this week and will return to experiment more...I have ideas...
exploring the circle stage. the paper screen or wings need to be more secure. i may play with projection next.

I wanted this video to play on a loop but the limitations of this site do not allow.
