The mission of the Orono PTO is to enhance the educational programs offered to Orono K-5 students through volunteering and fundraising. The PTO promotes open communication and cooperation between teachers, parents, and the school community.
For the first time ever the Orono Foundation for Education and all of our Orono parent associations (PTO, OMSPA, SPA) are partnering on ONE parent communication opt-in process and FREE online parent directory for the entire district!
By registering, you will be automatically opted-in to receive communications from your parent association (you will ONLY receive messages from associations relevant to your student’s school) and the Foundation.
We are requesting a $40 per student contribution to the classroom party fund (fall and spring parties, STEM events, etc.) for the 2025-2026 school year. These funds will be divided equally between all K-5 classrooms to fund class parties throughout the year.
This new process replaces both the Room Rep personal Venmo party fund request AND our former PTO dues request. The funds are going to the same place; we're just collecting them with a more secure tool.
