1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using "ORMA - Remember Your Day" (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. "As-Is" Software (No Warranty)

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that your data will never be lost. You acknowledge that Orma is a tool for personal memory and reflection, and you use it at your own risk.

4. Medical Disclaimer

ORMA IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE.
It is designed for lifestyle organization, journaling, and personal reflection. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive conditions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

5. Data Loss and Backups

Since Orma stores data locally on your device, we cannot recover your data if your device is lost, damaged, or wiped. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your device.

6. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Orma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, photos, or recordings) arising from your use of the App.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data when you use the ORMA - Remember Your Day mobile application.

2. Our Core Promise: Offline First

The App is designed as an offline-first reflection tool. This means:

• Data Storage: All notes, photos, voice recordings, and other entries created in the App are stored locally on your device.

• No Cloud Sync: We do not automatically sync your data to any cloud server controlled by us.

• No Tracking: We do not track your location, behavior, or usage patterns for advertising purposes.

3. Data We Collect & Permissions

Since we do not host user accounts, we generally do not "collect" data in the traditional sense. However, the App interacts with the following permissions solely to function:

A. Camera & Microphone

• Purpose: Required only when you actively choose to take a photo or record a voice memo for your timeline.

• Storage: These files are stored locally on your device's internal storage. We do not transmit them.

B. Link Metadata

• Purpose: When you save a URL/Link to your timeline, the App briefly connects to the internet to fetch the public title and preview image of that website.

• Security: This request is processed securely and the data is saved locally on your timeline. We do not store a history of your browsed links.

4. Crash Data (Google Play)

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (like Firebase or Sentry) inside the app. However, if your device settings allow it, Google Play may collect and provide us with anonymous crash logs (Android Vitals) to help us fix stability issues. This data is aggregated and does not contain your personal content.

5. Data Security

• Local Encryption: We offer features (like PIN/Biometric lock) to restrict access to the App on your device.

• User Responsibility: Because data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing up your device. If you lose your phone or uninstall the App without a device backup, your data may be lost.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
