About Me
I have enjoyed art all my life. As an art lover I was motivated to learn how to create pieces of art myself. I have attended many workshops, studied online, and have had private mentoring to hone my skills. I work in several different mediums, but oil is my favorite medium. I enjoy painting images that evoke an emotion for the viewer, whether that be the peace of nature, excitment of wildlife, or nostalgia for our rural way of life. All my paintings are original art. No prints are sold at this time. I am a member of Eastbank Art Gallery in Sioux Falls, SD and typically have several pieces of art on display there .
I am also experienced in and will do commissioned work from photos. In the past I have painted pets and children more frequently than other subjects.
