I grab my canoe and paddle, I push them into the lake, and I jump in
I paddle until I reach the middle of the lake
I take the dripping paddle out of the water and place it in front of me
I lean back and smell the freshness of mother nature
I bend down and run my fingers into the sparkling freshwater, as the fish kiss them
The birds fly above and dip in the water to relax like me
I feel as though the sky and water are connected
in a way, the human race can’t feel, see, or hear
The wind blows in my face as if little creatures are dancing on my face
I close my eyes to see, feel and hear the world in a new way
I imagine the fish feeling the water
Birds kissing the sky
Deer meeting the fish
Bares fishing like men
Squirrels hugging the trees
And the sky
meeting the lake
