They are oftentimes found in the wild
Big and intimidating creatures
Sharp teeth and claws that grab at whatever they want
Take whatever they want
Hunt for whatever they want
Running purely off of their own needs and wants
Taking food whenever they can, going wherever they please
Because really, they know they overpower most others
What, with being high up in the animal kingdom with both size and force
Who wouldn’t prance around without a care of repercussions?
When threatened they become vicious
Baring their teeth
Controlling their prey
Attacking their prey on sight and showing no signs of backing down
Known to chase fleeing prey even if they have no reason to
Can run fast, faster than most
Can climb, jump
All sorts of things
Usually they are solitary creatures
Alone among others
Though sometimes they hunt in groups
All catching prey at once
There’s plenty of different types of them
But most can hide in plain sight
No one would suspect them at all
And sometimes they can be rather cute really
Even if they stalk you
Hunt you
Tower over you
Now, tell me, how many of you thought I was talking about a bear?
May it be grizzly, or brown, or near harmless black?
Show of hands
I bet there’s plenty of you
And, unfortunately, that is where you are wrong
I was never talking about a bear
Never any kind of bear it fact
This was never their story
See, Dear reader, this was about men
Human men
Grown adults who can think for themselves
Yet, they can be compared to bears
Want to know something?
The only difference between bears and men is that men have killed more
I would choose a bear over a man.
