  • Kudos to all of the students for this wonderful presentation of your work. It was a treat to flip through the book and not only see the collections and individual pieces, but also read some of the stories connected to their inspirations and choices. I loved all of it, but I was especially moved by the "Red" collection, and impressed with Zachary's unicorn and imaginary creatures. The virtual book format was fun and so easy to navigate! Thanks for sharing your work. ~Prof. Deb Gussman, Literature Program

  • All of it is excellent, creative, and brilliant. Congratulations students (and teacher).

  • I attend the Showcase every year but this was by far my favorite!!! I loved seeing the artistic presentation of so many! Congratulations on your hard work!! Some of my favorites: UP balloons, grapes, four leaf clover, sunflower, fall leaves, lotus flower, crane, the fighter jet and the swan. Dr. Boakes - what a creative display - excellent idea and worth the celebration!

  • I loved all of it; what a unique idea ... very beautiful ... and showcases the students' art very effectively ...

  • Wonderful! The pokemon collection has such personality! Very much taken with the animal figures - peacock, unicorn, brown fox, dragon. And a horseshoe crab! Use of scrapbook paper and coloring books pages great. Bonus points for trying to use the rubber lining material - I'm always look for new ways to use that stuff!

  • This is OUTSTANDING. I am going to share it everywhere! Such an amazing way to bring it all together virtually. Book creator is one of the tools I am always telling people about but the origami featured in the story is wonderfully integrated and the students have that showcase forever.

  • My favorites were the house from "Up", the purple Peacock and the swan but everything was beautiful! Loved the format. It's beautiful!

  • I liked the connections between all the pieces. They are all spectacular. Every one of these is spectacular. Amazing work, students. Wonderful way to engage the students, Dr. Boakes!
