I am a Professor of Economics at the University of South Carolina.  I am an applied microeconomist with research on labor, health, education and welfare programs and policy. 

I have two kids, one husband, no dogs, and no cats.  I like binge reading, baking, cooking for a crowd, and city walking/hiking.  

I am currently the chair of the Economics Department at the Darla Moore School of Business.
