As AI technology becomes more prevalent, it is increasingly important to value and appreciate human-made products. After all, why should someone invest significant time and effort into creating something if it receives the same recognition as something generated in seconds? As Milan Ehrhardt states in the article “The Human Touch: Why AI Will Never Fully Replace Human Creativity” in 2025 “Artificial intelligence, on the other hand, relies on data. It can learn how something “should” sound or look by analysing huge amounts of existing work. But it does not feel like anything. It doesn’t have joys, sorrows, or lived experiences to draw upon. You could argue that if an AI-generated song sounds sad, it has done its job. Still, many people pick up on a difference: art made by a human often shows evidence of personal struggle or triumph, while a machine follows patterns it has learned”. The difference between an AI-created song and a human-made one is crucial—it’s part of what defines us as humans. Yet, as mentioned before, AI can create things in seconds, while the qualities that make us human take real effort to develop and can be lost just as quickly if we’re not careful.
The ‘Organic Entertainment’ platform will be the sustaining force to keep human made entertainment alive. This platform needs to be launched as soon as possible, because once the human touch in entertainment and in life is lost, it becomes much harder to restore. Not only is this platform important for sustaining the ‘human touch’ in entertainment but it also is important in sustaining job security in the world. With AI rising in power many Canadian artists are losing their jobs! For example the artist “The Velvet Sundown” has hit 1.2 million monthly listeners on spotify even though it uses AI: this takes away listeners from other human artists. This platform needs to be created to sustain human lifestyle and authenticity in today's world for musicians and the listeners. It’s important to acknowledge that the process of creating this platform will take a team. A team with diverse backgrounds to create the most inclusive and representative platform. If the platform is not diverse it is as simple as AI, the exact opposite of what the platform stands for. Having a team speeds things up but it also slows things down because considering everyone's opinions is extremely important. Overall this process of making this organic platform is one that has urgency but can not be rushed because details matter.
