Decent pipe sounds but low volume samples that need a lot of gain and EQ to bring out the highs imo. Breaks out the bass pedals as a separate instrument that is useful with the Dracula organ above imo.

A friend who is not too tech-savvy bought a Nord Piano 4 for use in their gigs, replacing a cheap Yamaha digital piano. The problem is that the Yamaha had a couple of organ sounds that were passable/usable in a pinch for organ, but the Nord Piano (while having lots of sounds besides piano) avoids any organ but pipe organ! It is possible to load samples onto the Piano 4 - but I need to find some good organ samples first. Any suggestions are welcome, because from time to time I sit in with this friend's band - and really need at least one or two rock organ sounds.

Being the proud owner of a NP4, I can conclusively say that, no, there is no way to get credible organ sounds unless you use the NP4 as a midi controller to something else. Besides, that action is all wrong for organ playing.

Looking at things more broadly? If you bill yourself as a keys player, you really ought to be able to cover the more popular sounds: pianos, organs, synths, strings, horns et. al. Besides, playing a smoking organ sim via a tasty waterfall keyboard is a real pleasure.

First option is to load up some B3 samples into your NP4, and see what it sounds/plays like. If it's enough for your bandleader, then you're done for now, right? Head over to the Nord forum for that one.

Fourth option is to sell the NP4 and buy an Electro 6 HP. The piano action isn't as satisfying as the NP4, but I find it OK. All the piano samples are identical, and you get a very nice organ engine with decent leslie, distortion, etc.

We spent some time with organist Dr Simon Lindley who told us all about how the instrument works, it's history and even a guided tour up in to the inside of the organ itself! Simon crafted 6 versatile presets for us and we began the painstaking process of sampling this incredible feat of engineering. Over the next few months we spent many evenings in the town hall recording every single note with multiple round robins and over 10 second note recordings to capture the true sonic character of the organ.

We packaged the sounds up into a custom Kontakt 5 instrument with a lovely photo of the organ in all of it's splendor, as well as sampler instruments for Kontakt 4, EXS24, Reason NN-XT and Ableton Sampler. Mass spectrometry based 'omics pairs well with organ-on-a-chip-based investigations, which often have limited cellular material for sampling. However, a common issue with these chip-based platforms is well-to-well or chip-to-chip variability in the proteome and metabolome due to factors such as plate edge effects, cellular asynchronization, effluent flow, and limited cell count. This causes high variability in the quantitative multi-omics analysis of samples, potentially masking true biological changes within the system. Solutions to this have been approached via data processing tools and post-acquisition normalization strategies such as constant median, constant sum, and overall signal normalization. Unfortunately, these methods do not adequately correct for the large variations, resulting in a need for increased biological replicates. The methods in this work utilize a dansylation based assay with a subset of labeled metabolites that allow for pre-acquisition normalization to better correlate the biological perturbations that truly occur in chip-based platforms. BCA protein assays were performed in tandem with a proteomics pipeline to achieve pre-acquisition normalization. The CN Bio PhysioMimix was seeded with primary hepatocytes and challenged with VX after six days of culture, and the metabolome and proteome were analyzed using the described normalization methods. A decreased coefficient of variation percentage is achieved, significant changes are observed through the proteome and metabolome, and better classification of biological replicates acquired because of these strategies.

Standard 3D imaging techniques such as micro MRI1,2,3,4 and micro-CT5,6,7,8,9 are used in biomedical imaging to visualize morphology in large tissues and organs at micrometer-level resolution. However, these techniques are expensive and cannot take advantage of molecule-specific labeling strategies that are available to fluorescence microscopy. Confocal10 or light sheet fluorescence microscopy11,12,13 can be used to generate volumetric data with optical sectioning at sub-cellular resolution, although the usable specimen sizes are typically confined to sub-millimeter scales and commercial microscopy systems can be expensive.

Optical Projection Tomography (OPT)14 is a 3D imaging technique for transparent mesoscopic samples which allows visualizing micrometer-scale features. OPT is based on computerized tomography techniques15 in which 2D images, called projections, are acquired with different sample orientations and then used to obtain a 3D image of the sample using a reconstruction algorithm, such as filtered-back projection (FBP). Sample clearing is often necessary to allow light propagation and imaging through the thickness of the sample. OPT can operate using either absorption/scattering of the sample (transmission OPT, tOPT) or fluorescence (emission OPT, eOPT) to generate image contrast. The use of OPT has been reported widely and applications include the visualization of the 3D anatomy in mouse embryos16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27, zebrafish21,24,28,29,30,31,32,33,34, drosophila35,36,37,38, plants39,40, C.elegans41, animal organs22,27,42,43,44 and other mesoscopic samples45,46,47. Although major improvements in the resolution48,49, acquisition time32, field of view21,40 and compatibility with other imaging techniques22,28,50 have been made, most OPT applications require advanced technical expertise, expensive equipment and bespoke software for reconstructions.

Monster organ samples refer to the items dropped from the in-game Metamorph encounter, introduced in Metamorph league. This encounter is considered Extra Content and has a baseline 8% chance to appear in any non-unique map area.

The itemized unique monster organ samples (referred as "Greater Samples" in in-game dialogue) only drop from defeating the Metamorph that was constructed by the player in a map. The five types of organs are Brain, Eye, Heart, Lung and Liver.

In the encounter, certain monsters (and the map boss) are marked with a green "arrow" on their bodies as well as marked on the mini-map with a circular green icon , and the monster health and name bar have a similar green circle. Defeating these marked monsters will cause them to drop organ samples which are automatically collected.
