Who We Are

OrderPocket is an Android app that helps small made-to-order businesses manage customer orders. This Privacy Policy explains how OrderPocket handles information when you use the app.

Summary

• Your business and customer information stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

• OrderPocket does not require an account and does not use analytics or advertising.

• OrderPocket cannot read your private WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, or other chat messages.

• The app uses the internet only for Google Play purchase verification when you purchase the optional Pro upgrade.

• OrderPocket does not operate servers that store your business or customer records.

• You are responsible for creating and securely storing encrypted backups of your data.

Information Stored on Your Device

When you use OrderPocket, the app stores information you enter, including:

• Your business profile, including name, contact details, branding, and settings

• Customer details, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, delivery addresses, and notes

• Products and prices

• Orders, including items, customisation notes, dates, status, and history

• Payments, refunds, and balances

• Reference images you attach to orders

• Message templates and app preferences

• Local order reminders and related app settings

This information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive or store your business or customer records.

Information We Do Not Collect

OrderPocket does not:

• Require you to create an account or sign in

• Upload your customers, orders, prices, or images to our servers

• Use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking tools

• Read your notifications or access other apps in the background

• Monitor your WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, or other conversations

• Access your entire photo library. Photos are accessed only when you explicitly select them or share them into the app

How Information Enters the App

Information enters OrderPocket only when you take an action, such as:

• Typing or editing records in the app

• Sharing text or images from another app into OrderPocket

• Selecting images using your device’s photo picker

• Restoring an encrypted backup that you previously created

OrderPocket does not monitor your conversations or collect data from other apps without your action.

Sharing and Exports

When you share an order confirmation, such as a message, image, or PDF, you choose where to send it, for example WhatsApp.

OrderPocket provides the content through your device’s standard sharing system. What happens after you share the content is handled by the app or service you selected.

Encrypted Backups

You may export an encrypted backup of your OrderPocket data.

Backups are created only when you start an export, and you choose where to save or share the backup file.

OrderPocket does not store your backup password and cannot recover it if you lose it.

Pro Upgrade Through Google Play

OrderPocket offers an optional Pro upgrade through Google Play.

When you purchase Pro:

• Payment is processed by Google.

• OrderPocket connects to Google Play to verify your purchase and unlock Pro features.

• We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Google’s handling of payment and account information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Your business and customer records are not uploaded to OrderPocket servers as part of the Pro purchase process.

Notifications

If you enable order reminders, OrderPocket shows local notifications on your device to help you track orders.

These reminders are scheduled and managed locally on your device. They are not sent from a remote OrderPocket server.

Backups and Data Loss

Automatic cloud backup and automatic device-to-device transfer for OrderPocket are disabled.

Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

Uninstalling OrderPocket or clearing the app’s storage permanently deletes the local records and images stored by the app on that device.

Encrypted backup files that you have exported to another location are not deleted when you uninstall OrderPocket.

You can also delete all local data from the Settings section inside the app.

We recommend exporting an encrypted backup before uninstalling the app, resetting your device, or clearing its storage.

Your Responsibilities

OrderPocket is a business tool. If you store your customers’ personal information in the app, you are responsible for:

• Using that information lawfully

• Informing your customers where required by applicable laws

• Protecting customer information stored on your device

• Protecting any encrypted backups you create

• Using appropriate care when sharing order confirmations through other apps

Children’s Privacy

OrderPocket is a business productivity app and is not directed at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide additional notice within the app.
