Section Leadership Summit Next Zoom Meeting Happening March 22nd
NOTE: Access to the Member Portal is currently only available for Candidates and Lodge Members 13 and older.
The Order of the Arrow (OA) Member Portal is the official digital hub designed for members of Scouting America’s National Honor Society. Think of it as the "digital lodge" where the administrative side of the OA meets the modern user experience.
What is the OA Member Portal?
The Member Portal is a centralized platform intended to give every Candidate or Arrowman (13 and Older) the ability to:
Update your contact information (email/phone/mailing address)
View the lodge calendar
Find links to register for events
Check if your dues are paid
Contact lodge leadership with questions
In addition, recently elected members, prior to their ordeal can access information to help them prepare for their Induction (Ordeal), and recently inducted members will have access to information to help them on their journey to Brotherhood.
How It Works:
The Portal operates as a cloud-based interface that syncs with the National OA Database OA LodgeMaster. Here are the core mechanics:
1. Identity & Access
The Portal uses ArrowID, a single sign-on (SSO) system. This means you don't need a different password for every OA-related website. Once you create an ArrowID, it links your Scouting America Member ID to your OA records.
2. Personal Dashboard
Once logged in, a member sees a personalized "Snapshot." This May include:
* Membership Status: Whether you are "Active" (dues paid) or "Lapsed."
* Honor Level: Your current status as Ordeal, Brotherhood, or Vigil Honor.
* Induction Dates: A historical record of when you went through your ceremonies.
3. Lodge Connectivity
The Portal acts as a bridge between you and your local Lodge.
4. Digital Credentials
Instead of carrying a physical card that might get ruined at a rainy camporee, you can pull up now pull up your yearly membership card on right from your profile and prove your membership and honors.
5. Ease of Transfer
Before the Portal, if you moved to a different Council and/or lost your Ordeal, Brotherhood, or Vigil dates, it could take weeks of paperwork to fix. Now you as a member have 24/7 access to your OA Records meaning:
Portability: If you move, your records can follow.
Accuracy: You are the "source of truth" for your contact info, not a paper roster in a binder.
Efficiency: It reduces the administrative burden on volunteer Lodge Secretary / Membership Team, letting them focus on program rather than spreadsheets. (But we still recommend, asking the Lodge Secretary or Membership Team for a copy of your history report to provide to your new Lodge as added proof.)
