This section of the codex outlines how to progress within the Order, a vital means for those who aspire to become an knowledgeable and respected Knight. As you progress within the group, the responsibilities and expectations applied to you will increase. For the ranks of Jedi Knight, Advanced Knight and Master, a trial will be hosted to test the competence and skills of the individual taking it.

Advanced Ranks
The Jedi Knight Trials
A Jedi Knight is a rank in the Jedi Order for a Padawan who has completed their training and passed the Jedi Trials. They are full members of the Order and act as guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, taking on independent missions. A Jedi Knight possesses significant skill in both lightsaber combat and the use of the Force and may take on a Padawan of their own. They are considered a symbol of hope and are looked to as examples of the Jedi's commitment to responsibility and discipline.
Spend at least four days as a Padawan
Receive approval from your Master to take your Knight trials. If you do not have a Master, or your Master is on IA, you can DM any Jedi Master+ to gain approval.
Provide an understanding of how to co-host each and every training in detail (These must be approved by the Consulars division. Refer to their server for more info)
Showcase combative skills by beating the host in 3/6 duels.

Jedi Vanguard
This is a retired rank for Jedi Instructors and Masters that have retired in good standing and made contributions to the Order
Must pass three quota cycles as a JI/JM
Retire in good standing
Jedi Elder
This is a retired rank for Jedi Councilors that have retired in good standing and made significant contributions to the Order

Jedi Legend
This rank is for Grandmasters and Masters of the Order that have made significant contributions to the Order, or has been awarded the rank by Royal.
High Ranks
Jedi Instructor
The first High Rank in the Order, Instructors serve as the main teachers for the group. Individuals in this role are expected to act as role models to future staff members of the Order, therefore acting mature, remaining active and avoiding punishment through inactivity.
Instructors may have TWO padawans at any time.
Instructors can retire in the Order.
Can host, co-host and attend all official trainings and events.
Must spend 10 days as a Knight.
Mentor ONE padawan to the rank of Knight.
Maintain a good image & reputation.
Explain how to host each training.
Write a paragraph on why you think you deserve the rank, and what you hope to accomplish with it.
Jedi Master
Individuals in this role are some of the most proficient, respected and experienced members in the Order. Masters have incredible maturity, dedication, knowledge and respect beyond anyone else, and they are the individuals you should contact if you have any questions regarding the Order.
They are able to rank people in the group.
Masters can retire from the Order.
Masters can lead Divisions.
Masters can have THREE padawans at a time.
Masters that have passed their trial-period will be given the Moderator role in the Discord which allows them to moderate community channels.
Host two regular events, two SSUs, and one Trial.
Once you have completed the requirements above and it has been at least three weeks since your induction, a Jedi Councilor will contact you with feedback of your performance as a staff members so far, and around three-four weeks later they will evaluate your efforts and performance and if you are deemed worthy, a vote will be held to appoint you.
Leadership
The Jedi Council is the governing body of the Order, composed of six Jedi Masters. As the leaders of the Order, the Council is responsible for oversight of all operations. Each of the three minor councils (First Knowledge, Reassignment, and Reconciliation) is led by two of these six councilors.

Composed of four Masters, the Jedi High Council are responsible for overseeing the minor councils, and the Order as a whole. The High Council have additional responsibilities such as hosting tournaments, polls, engaging with the community, and being the face of the Order's leadership.

The Master of the Order is responsible for overseeing operations, making sure the group runs smoothly, upholding all standards and strategic planning for the Order. They are also the individuals who oversee the Jedi Council and all of its subordinate minor councils (First Knowledge, Reassignment, and Reconciliation). Masters of the Order can only be selected and inducted by the Grandmaster.
