The Teacher Officers (TOs) are trained teachers for NPCC duties and to familiarise themselves with NPCC training so as to allow them to carry out their designed duties in NPCC effectively and efficiently.

The Honorary Officers (HOs) are trained young adult leaders for NPCC duties by acquainting them with their roles in the NPCC, instructing them on the subject matter relating to NPCC training and developing their leadership skills so that they can effectively train cadets of the respective units that they serve.
