指揮者 CONDUCTOR
村本寛太郎 ＜むらもと かんたろう＞ Kantaro Muramoto
埼玉県出身。幼少より、ピアノ、エレクトーンを、14歳より打楽器を学ぶ。
打楽器専攻として、埼玉県立大宮光陵高校音楽科、東京芸術大学音楽部を卒業後、オランダのアムステルダム音楽院に留学、バロック音楽からコンテンポラリーまで幅広い音楽を専門的に学ぶ。
大学在学中より、独学で指揮を学び、打楽器の演奏活動と両立して指揮者として活動を始める。

わかりやすく明快な解釈と、打楽器で培った多彩な音色・リズム感で、合唱団、吹奏楽団、オーケストラなど多数の団体から信頼を得ている。
Born in Saitama prefecture, Japan, has played the piano and the electone since young, and started percussion when he was 14 years old.
He majored in percussion at Saitama Prefectural Omiya Koryo High School music department and Tokyo University of the Arts. Later, he studied abroad at Conservatorium van Amsterdam, to learn a wide variety of music from baroque to contemporary.
Self studied conducting during undergraduate days, and has succeeded as a director besides playing percussion, being trusted by different of orchestras due to his clear interpretation and talented sense of tone and rhythm.
