Orem boasts a large community of artists and places to make art with individuals and families. Below are some resources that you can register, sign up, buy art supplies, or receive art lessons.
SCERA–Orem
Supports the community in a variety of the arts, including Visual Art. They offer classes in stained glass, painting, and ceramics. You are required to register, costs vary from ~$65-$260, depending on the medium and amount of classes. More information.
A local art store, also offers art class for youth. Covers the foundations for a good price, $40 for a month's worth of lessons. Also offers adult lessons, if you yourself are interested! More information.
Patty's Ceramics–Provo
Offers painting classes for $4, but you do need to provide your own materials. They are available for purchase there. This would be a good option for students interested in ceramics as they have both firing options and glaze firing options. Those prices depend on individual pieces. More information.

BYU Museum of Art–Provo
First and Third Saturday of the month in the morning, the MOA provides a self-guided tour script and opens their studio to create a project that relates to the tour. More information.

The Museum offers a variety of programs for children throughout the year. Museum is engaging and will have shows that celebrate local artists, including High Schooler Art. More information.
