When you purchase a system, the first 200 tags are free. These tags are designed to be worn comfortably on the wrist and offer a long-range signal of over 20 feet. Wrist tags are especially convenient because users don’t need to bend down to attach them to their shoes.
Wrist tags have proven to be superior for teams. The custom numbering system identifies teachers and students by color and class number, simplifying organization. While the Orbiter system allows tags to be shared between classes for cost efficiency, it is far easier for teachers to manage when each student has their wristband.
The reading distance can extend up to 40 feet because the tag dangles freely in the air, unlike shoe-tied tags, which have a shorter range. Additionally, the tags require no batteries and come with a 5-year guarantee. They are also machine washable for added convenience.
