This privacy policy describes how Orbit ("the app," "we," "our") handles information when you use it.
Orbit does not require an account, does not collect personal information itself, and does not have its own servers. The only data collection that happens comes from Google's advertising technology (AdMob), which we use to show ads and offer optional "watch an ad to continue" rewards.
Orbit stores one piece of information locally on your device: your best score. This is saved only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere or linked to you personally. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Orbit does not require sign-up, does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other personal information, and does not have user accounts.
Orbit uses Google AdMob to display ads and to offer optional rewarded video ads (which let you continue a run after a mistake). To do this, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares certain information, including:
IP address (used to estimate general location)
Device and advertising identifiers
App interaction data (such as ad views and clicks)
Diagnostic and performance information
This data is used by Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, and is encrypted in transit. This collection is performed by Google's SDK, not by code we write ourselves — we do not receive, store, or have access to this data directly.
You can review Google's own privacy practices, and manage your ad personalization settings, at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
You can also reset or opt out of your device's advertising identifier at any time via your device's system settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Orbit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address it (see Contact section below).
Since Orbit does not collect personal information on servers we control, there is no account or personal data for us to retain or delete. Your locally stored best score can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage in your device settings.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if the app's features or the ad services it uses change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
