Orbital Pursuit
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 15, 2026
Last Updated: August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy is posted at:

This policy describes how Logan Voss, under exclusive license to Synesthesia Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the iOS and iPadOS game Orbital Pursuit (bundle identifier com.logan.infinite) (the “App”).
Orbital Pursuit is an endless arcade space-combat game. You fly through space, collect stars, avoid obstacles, and optionally compare scores on Apple Game Center leaderboards.
By using the App, you understand the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who is responsible
Developer: Logan Voss
Publisher / licensee: Synesthesia Labs
App Store seller: Logan Voss
Contact for privacy questions, access requests, consent withdrawal, and U.S. state privacy requests:
Email: loganvoss.work@gmail.com
This policy: https://sites.google.com/view/orbitalpursuit/home
We do not have a separate in-app account system. You do not create a username, password, or profile with us.
2. Short summary
We do not require you to register with us.
Gameplay settings and a local high score are stored on your device.
If you use Game Center, Apple processes your Game Center identity and scores so we can submit and show leaderboard results.
The App shows Google AdMob full-screen interstitial ads. Advertising, measurement, and (where allowed) personalized ads are provided by Google.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we request advertising consent with Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads or non-essential advertising identifiers are used.
On Apple devices, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not operate our own analytics, crash, or account backend for this game.
3. Information we process
A. Information stored only on your device
The App stores a small amount of data locally with iOS (UserDefaults), including:
• Music on / off
• A local high score
• A count of completed runs used only to space out ads
This stays on the device. We do not upload it to our own servers. Deleting the App removes it.
B. Information we do not collect ourselves
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, postal address, payment card, photos, contacts, precise GPS location, or health data.
We do not provide a login or account inside Orbital Pursuit.
If you email us (for example at loganvoss.work@gmail.com), we receive whatever you choose to send, and we use it only to respond and keep a record of the request.
C. Apple Game Center (optional)
The App uses Apple Game Center. On launch, Apple may ask you to sign in to Game Center. You can cancel or skip that prompt and still play.
If you sign in, we use Game Center to:
• Authenticate you with Apple
• Submit your score to the Orbital Pursuit leaderboard
• Let you open the Game Center leaderboard UI
Apple, not Synesthesia Labs, operates Game Center. Depending on your Apple Account and Game Center settings, Apple may process identifiers such as your Game Center player ID, nickname / alias, friend relationships you choose to use, device information, and scores.
We do not receive your Apple Account password. We do not sell Game Center data.
You can manage or turn off Game Center in iOS Settings. Apple’s Game Center information:

D. Advertising — Google AdMob interstitial ads
The App displays full-screen interstitial ads at natural breaks (typically after several completed runs, when you start a new game). Ads are served by Google AdMob.
Google and, where applicable, its advertising partners may automatically collect or receive:
• Device and advertising identifiers, including IDFA if you allow tracking, and other identifiers such as IDFV
• IP address and approximate location derived from IP (not precise GPS from us)
• Device and App information (device model, operating system, language, time zone, App version, bundle identifier)
• Ad request, impression, click, and view data
• Diagnostic information used to serve, measure, and protect ads (for example fraud and invalid traffic detection)
• Consent and privacy-choice signals from UMP and ATT
If you consent to personalized ads, Google may use this information (together with information Google already has from your use of Google services) to show ads more relevant to you.
If you refuse personalized ads, or ATT is denied, or you later opt out, we still may show non-personalized / limited ads. Those ads can still use technical information needed to deliver an ad (for example IP address, coarse location, and device type) but are not based on your advertising profile.
E. Consent records (Google UMP)
In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and other regions where Google requires a consent message, the App presents Google’s User Messaging Platform form.
UMP may process:
• Your consent choices (accept, reject, or granular purposes / partners)
• A consent string or signal shared with Google
• Technical data needed to show the form and remember your choice (for example IP address, device type, and region)
You can change or withdraw those choices later. See Sections 6 and 8.
F. Apple App Tracking Transparency and IDFA
On iOS / iPadOS, the App requests App Tracking Transparency permission before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
• If you select “Allow,” Google may use IDFA and related data for personalized advertising and measurement, subject to your UMP choices where those apply.
• If you select “Ask App Not to Track,” or you later turn tracking off, the App will not access IDFA. Ads may still appear, but they will not use IDFA.
You can change this anytime in:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Orbital Pursuit
Apple also offers a system-level Personalized Ads control under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
We do not force tracking. Gameplay does not require IDFA.
4. How we use information
We and our advertising partner use information to:
• Run the game on your device (music preference, local score)
• Submit and display Game Center scores if you use Game Center
• Show interstitial ads so we can offer the App free of charge
• Request, store, and honor privacy and advertising consent
• Measure whether ads were shown or clicked
• Detect fraud, invalid traffic, and abuse
• Respond to emails you send us
• Comply with law and platform rules (Apple, Google)
We do not use the App to build our own marketing list. We do not use your data for independent profiling outside the advertising and Game Center services described here.
5. Advertising partner — Google
Our advertising partner is Google LLC and its affiliates, through Google AdMob and related Google advertising / measurement services.

You can also use industry opt-out pages:

Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org
European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: https://www.youronlinechoices.com
Google may act as an independent controller or as a processor, depending on the AdMob / UMP configuration and your region. Google’s policy explains Google’s own processing.
Ads may be supplied from Google’s ad network. We do not plug in additional third-party ad SDKs beyond Google AdMob / UMP.
6. Your choices and opt-outs
In the App
• On the main menu, tap PRIVACY
• In Settings (gear), tap PRIVACY CHOICES
Those controls reopen the Google UMP privacy form when a form is required for your region. There you can withdraw consent, refuse personalized ads, or change ad-purpose / partner choices where the form offers them.
Settings also includes PRIVACY POLICY, which opens this page.
On your Apple device
• Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — turn off tracking for Orbital Pursuit or for all apps
• Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising — turn off Personalized Ads
• Settings → Game Center — sign out or limit Game Center features
• Delete the App to remove local music, high-score, and ad-frequency data
With Google
Use https://myadcenter.google.com or https://adssettings.google.com to opt out of personalized Google ads across participating apps and sites (this is a Google account / device control, not something we host).
We do not require personalized ads or Game Center to play.
7. Legal bases (EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland) — GDPR / UK GDPR / FADP
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process personal data only where a legal basis applies.
Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); ePrivacy / PECR where applicable)
• Storing or accessing advertising identifiers and similar information that is not strictly necessary
• Personalized advertising, advertising measurement that depends on consent, and sharing consent signals with Google
• Access to IDFA after you allow tracking
You can refuse consent without losing the core game. You can withdraw consent at any time via in-app PRIVACY / PRIVACY CHOICES, ATT settings, or by contacting loganvoss.work@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened.
Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f))
• Providing a free game supported by non-personalized ads
• Security, fraud prevention, and invalid-traffic detection
• Responding to support email
• Remembering your music setting and local high score on device
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights. You may object by emailing us or by using the in-app / device controls.
Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
• Operating the game features you choose to use, including optional Game Center score submission
Compliance with law (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c))
• Keeping records needed to show we asked for consent, and responding to lawful requests
Categories of personal data (where generated)
• Device and advertising identifiers
• IP address and approximate location
• Device / App technical data
• Ad event data
• Consent choices
• Game Center identifiers and scores (if you use Game Center)
• Local settings and local high score
• Contents of emails you send us
We do not intentionally process special-category data (GDPR Art. 9).
Your GDPR / UK GDPR rights
You may have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Erase data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO; in the EEA, your local data protection authority; in Switzerland, the FDPIC)
Because we do not run user accounts, much of the advertising data is held by Google, and Game Center data is held by Apple. We will help where we can. For Google-held ad data, use Google’s tools and policy pages above. For Game Center, use your Apple Account / Game Center settings.
To exercise rights with us, email loganvoss.work@gmail.com.
8. U.S. state privacy (CCPA / CPRA and similar laws)
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a consumer privacy law (including, where applicable, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and similar statutes), this section applies.
Categories
In the last 12 months, the App may have collected or caused to be collected the categories below, for the purposes in Section 4:
• Identifiers (advertising ID / IDFA if allowed, IP address, Game Center player ID if you use Game Center)
• Internet or electronic network activity (ad requests, impressions, clicks)
• Approximate geolocation (from IP, via advertising partners)
• Inferences used by Google for ads, if you allow personalized ads
• Device information
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation from the App, or contents of your private communications other than email you send us.
Sale, share, and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money.
Personalized advertising through Google AdMob can be “sharing” or “targeted advertising” / “cross-context behavioral advertising” under CPRA and similar laws.
We do not share personal information except:
• With Google for advertising, measurement, and security as described above
• With Apple for Game Center if you use Game Center
• If required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or the App
Right to opt out of sale / share / targeted advertising
You can opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising by:
1. Using PRIVACY on the main menu or PRIVACY CHOICES in Settings and refusing personalized ads / withdrawing advertising consent
2. Choosing “Ask App Not to Track” (or turning Tracking off in iOS Settings)
3. Using Google Ad Settings: https://myadcenter.google.com
4. Emailing loganvoss.work@gmail.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”
If you opt out, you can still play. You may still see ads, including non-personalized ads.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
Other U.S. rights
Depending on your state, you may also request:
• To know / access what we collected
• Deletion
• Correction
• A copy of data in a portable format
• Not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights
Email loganvoss.work@gmail.com. We will verify the request by a reasonable method (for example, confirming control of the email account used to write us). You may use an authorized agent as your state law allows.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a separate CPRA “limit the use” right beyond what is described here.
9. Children
Orbital Pursuit is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / UK where that age applies), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child provided personal information to us, email loganvoss.work@gmail.com and we will delete what we control and disable personalized advertising insofar as we can.
Parents and guardians can use ATT, in-app Privacy Options, and Apple Screen Time / Game Center controls.
10. Retention
• On-device settings and local high score: until you change them or delete the App
• UMP consent choice: typically remembered on the device until you reset it, reinstall, or we have to request consent again (for example if the consent message or law changes)
• Email you send us: as long as needed to handle the request and keep a normal support record
• Game Center scores and identity: retained by Apple under Apple’s policies
• Advertising data: retained by Google under Google’s policies
We do not keep a separate cloud copy of your gameplay.
11. Security
We store only minimal data on the device and do not run our own game-account servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Apple and Google apply their own security controls to Game Center and AdMob.
12. International transfers
We are based in the United States. Google and Apple may process data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may not provide the same legal protections as your home country. Where required, those companies use their own transfer mechanisms (for example Standard Contractual Clauses). Details are in Google’s and Apple’s privacy policies.
13. Third-party links and credits
The App or this page may link to Apple Music, our website, or other sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own.

14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last Updated” date at the top will change. The current version will always be at:
https://sites.google.com/view/orbitalpursuit/home
If we make material changes (for example a new advertising SDK or an account system), we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent again.
