Orbit Tracker is a Free app provided at no cost and is intended for use "as is." This policy explains how information is handled within the app.
I do not collect, store, or share any of your personal information. I do not have any servers, and I do not have access to any data you enter into the app. All processing happens locally on your device.
To show you what is in the sky at any location, the app requires you to provide a geographic location (Latitude/Longitude).
User-Provided: You manually enter any location.
Local Use Only: This data is used only for astronomical calculations within the app. It is not stored by the app and is never transmitted to me or any third party.
No Phone Permissions: This app does not request access to your phone’s GPS or automated location sensors.
To keep the satellite and planet orbits accurate, the app performs the following:
CelesTrak (TLE Data): On startup, the app downloads orbital data (TLE) from CelesTrak. This is a one-time request per session. No user data is sent to CelesTrak other than the standard technical request needed to download the file.
Google Play Services: This app uses Google Play Services for basic app functionality. You can find their privacy policy here: Google Play Services Privacy Policy
This app does not collect any personally identifiable information and is safe for all users, including children.
I may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at: lanejjdice@gmail.com
