Go to the NASA Audio and Ringtones page to look for an audio you like. There are multiple downloadables on the NASA Sounds section in order to find the right NASA ringtone. There are a number of categories to choose from from the Mission Control of Apollo 11 to the Space Shuttle launch. Download the sound you want and save the link. It is usually automatically in M4R format.

There are two ways to send the ringtone to the iPhone through MacOS either Catalina or newer. It is also possible to send the NASA ringtone through Windows and iTunes. While NASA has been doing a lot for Earth, people on Earth can play the NASA ringtone to bring them closer to the journey.

Go to the "General Tab" and click on "Manually Manage Music, Movies and TV Shows." This is where owners can add the M4R by dragging and dropping it onto the sync menu. Go to the "Sounds and Haptics" menu that can be found on the "Settings App." Check out the options under "Sounds and Vibration Patterns" and look for the NASA ringtone that was added. Make sure that the M4R file is less than 40 seconds and to remove a ringtone, swipe left.

For Windows, users need iTunes to import the NASA ringtone. For those without iTunes, go to the Apple website to simply install it. Once set up, connect the iPhone to the computer and let the computer have access to your iPhone. Once connected to the iPhone, go to the Tones tab and drag the NASA ringtone M4R file into iTunes.

Once again, go to the "Sounds and Haptics" menu that can be found on the "Settings App." Check out the options under "Sounds and Vibration Patterns" and look for the NASA ringtone that was added. Make sure that the M4R file is less than 40 seconds and to remove a ringtone, swipe left.

Ask a friend or family member to give your phone a call or a text and see if the ringtone works and suits you! The guide was provided by 9to5mac and can also be followed should you want to use other ringtones as well. It is important, however, to make sure that the files are being converted to M4R to make sure that they can easily be imported to the phone.

I am using ringtone = RingtoneManager.getRingtone(this,Settings.System.DEFAULT_RINGTONE_URI); to get default ring tone and i am playing using ringtone.play(); This is playing ring tone only once, i wanted to play until I call ringtone.stop(); i can see in log

OK.

So I went to where you go to set a ringtone and what not. If I play a sound within the ringtones, it plays just fine. But if I play that same tone within the default text message, Voice mail, E-mail, ETC, then that same tone will play quietly no matter the volume of your device. So Apple Accessibility has been getting lots of calls about this issue and no one has been able to get to the bottum of this problem, until now. So I believe it is a bug with iOS 14.3. And now Apple is being made aware of it as we speak.

Unlike Radar or the other iOS ringtones, these sounds are designed to gently wake you up in the morning. Soft pianos, bells, even bird chirps are an immediate improvement over the panic-inducing chimes we know and hate. Why Apple only includes these alarm sounds in the Sleep feature is unclear.

Back in time when first mobile phones came to market, it was all about hardware and design. Nobody really cared about the software piece because it was very basic. All that people used cell phones for was making calls and sending text messages (and sometimes bragging). Things that mattered at that time were reception quality, battery life, pre-loaded collection of ringtones, black and white or color screen, etc. Then mobile Internet came and software became a little more significant because of web browsing quality, email, etc. but people still cared more about features like Bluetooth, bigger screen, camera, EDGE versus GPRS, mp3 player and so on. Even when Windows Mobile OS hit the market 10 years ago, it was still hardware that mattered the most. The mobile phone makers had all the branding power and were on top of the game. 2351a5e196
