Restart the Netgear Orbi device. If you can’t update Orbi firmware, make sure you choose an updated web browser on your computer or laptop.
Log into the Orbi router device, via accessing www.orbilogin.net or www.orbilogin.com admin page. Then do provide the default login credentials.
Go to the Maintenance sections and from there, select Firmware Update option.
Now, go to the other tab and visit the Netgear Orbi official website. i.e orbilogin.net or http:www.orbilogin.com or try orbi default IP 192.168.1.1
Search for your model’s latest firmware. Download the firmware image file to your computer and go back to the previous tab.
Now upload the firmware file that you just downloaded and wait for a few seconds. If you still can’t update Orbi firmware, then you might want to contact a technical expert.

Once you download the Netgear genie software on your computer, launch the software.
Look for the Orbi Router Settings tab on the left panel of the page click on it.
Once you reach the orbilogin.net Settings page, you will be prompted to enter username and password.
Username – admin
Password – admin or default password.

After you sign in to your router settings, the software will take you to the Wireless Settings page.
You will see arrows on the top-right corner of the page. Click the arrows and you will see Router Update.
Click on Router Update tab and let your router search for the latest Netgear genie firmware update. This may take a few minutes.
