The Erasmus+ programme today is designed to foster a skilled and dynamic work force within the European Union. It allows students in vocational education and training to undertake temporary transnational training/work placements over a 3 week period, gaining an understanding of different cultures, languages and work practices. In February 2019, 6 MBC students will take part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Orastie, Romania

On Saturday 9th February 2019, we all set off from Moate Business College to travel to Timisoara and Orastie in Romania. 18 of us, along with 3 teachers from MBC headed out from Dublin airport together.
We arrived in Romania waving the flag for the Erasmus+ Project.
Very excited and nervous about what the next few weeks hold.
We initially arrived in Timisoara, where 10 of our fellow students will be staying. On Sunday we saw a little bit of Timisoara before saying goodbye to everyone staying behind and then travelled north for 2 hours to the town of Orastie.
