The Ohio River Analysis Meeting (ORAM) is supported by the National Science Foundation (Grant DMS-2444520). In accordance with NSF guidelines, we provide the following code of conduct for ORAM 14 at the University of Cincinnati during March 29-30, 2025.
ORAM will not tolerate any type of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to that based on the following categories: race, color, sex, marital status, religion, creed, national origin, disability, age, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression. ORAM will not tolerate sexual and/or gender-based harassment, discrimination, or violence. ORAM is committed to taking all appropriate steps to eliminate misconduct, prevent their recurrence, and address their effects.
This policy applies to all members of the ORAM community, including speakers, faculty, graduate students, undergraduates, and other attendees. This policy applies to both on-campus and off-campus conduct. In particular, off-campus conduct is subject to this policy if the conduct occurred in the context of an education program or activity of ORAM or had continuing adverse effects on participation in the program or activity.
ORAM will take immediate action in all allegations of discrimination and/or harassment to protect the safety of the community and individuals involved. ORAM encourages anyone who has experienced, witnessed or has information pertaining to a potential violation of this policy to take an active role in reporting this behavior.
