BBG (B'nai B'rith Girls): Division of BBYO for teens who identify as female.
MIT (Member In Training): A newly-joined BBYO member.
Region: A large area made of many councils or chapters.
Council: A subdivision of a region with multiple chapters.
Chapter: A member's primary group where they plan, host, or attend events with other group members.
RC (Regional Convention): An annual weekend-long event for members of a region.
IC (International Convention): An annual weekend-long event for all BBYO members across the globe.
Godol/N'siah: The President of an AZA (Godol) or BBG (N'siah) council, chapter, or region.
S'ganim: Vice Presidents of Programming—S’gan (AZA); S’ganit (BBG).
Morim: Heads of Membership and Recruitment—Moreh (AZA); Aym HaChaverot/MIT Mom (BBG).
Sh’lichim: Heads of Jewish Enrichment—Shaliach (AZA); Sh’licha (BBG).
Mazkirim: Heads of Communication/Media—Mazkir (AZA); Mazkirah (BBG).
Gizborim: Heads of Treasury & Fundraising—Gizbor (AZA); Gizborit (BBG).
Sunshine Girl: Head of positivity and spreads lots of kindness!
Chair Network: Assists chapter board
Chapter Board: Leaders of a chapter
Council Board: Oversees all chapters and their boards within a council
International Board: Global AZA and BBG leaders.
