Privacy Policy – OptiRing

This Privacy Policy describes how the OptiRing mobile application ("the Application") handles information. The Application is developed by Custom Control.
1. Collection of Personal Data
OptiRing is designed for controlling industrial and automation devices. The Application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data (such as name, phone number, email address, or location data) to the developer or any third-party servers. All data entered into the Application remains solely on the user’s own device.
2. Required Permissions
The Application requires the following permissions to function correctly:

Send SMS (SEND_SMS): The Application uses this permission exclusively to send control commands to control devices defined by the user. Messages are sent only when the user explicitly confirms the action by pressing "Yes" in a confirmation dialog.

Internet Access (INTERNET): Used to establish an FTP connection for setting synchronization, backups, and as an alternative communication(command) channel.

Access Network State (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to check if the device has an active internet connection before initiating FTP operations.
3. Data Storage and Security
All Application settings, such as device names, phone numbers, and FTP connection details, are stored locally in the device's secure internal storage.
Data Security: Sensitive information, such as FTP passwords, is protected using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences technology. This means that the data is encrypted with strong AES-256 encryption at the device level, ensuring that other applications cannot access it.
4. Sharing Data with Third Parties
The Application does not contain advertisements, tracking tools (such as Google Analytics), or any other third-party libraries that collect data. Data is not sold, rented, or shared. The only data transfer occurs between the Application and the FTP server specifically configured by the user.
5. User Rights
The user has full control over the data stored within the Application:

You can modify or delete saved devices and settings directly within the Application.

You can remove all Application data by uninstalling the Application or by selecting "Clear Data" in the device's system settings.

Tämä tietosuojaseloste kuvaa, miten OptiRing-mobiilisovellus ("sovellus") käsittelee tietoja. Sovelluksen on kehittänyt Custom Control.
1. Henkilötietojen kerääminen
OptiRing-sovellus on suunniteltu ohjauslaitteiden hallintaan. Sovellus ei kerää, tallenna tai lähetä käyttäjän henkilötietoja (kuten nimeä, puhelinnumeroa, sähköpostiosoitetta tai sijaintitietoja) kehittäjän tai kolmansien osapuolten palvelimille. Kaikki sovellukseen syötetyt tiedot pysyvät ainoastaan käyttäjän omassa laitteessa.
2. Sovelluksen tarvitsemat käyttöoikeudet
Sovellus pyytää seuraavia käyttöoikeuksia, jotka ovat välttämättömiä sen toiminnalle:

Tekstiviestien lähettäminen (SEND_SMS): Sovellus käyttää tätä oikeutta ainoastaan ohjauskäskyjen lähettämiseen käyttäjän määrittelemiin ohjauslaitteisiin. Viestejä lähetetään vain, kun käyttäjä nimenomaisesti painaa "Kyllä" vahvistusikkunassa.

Verkkoyhteys (INTERNET): Käytetään FTP-yhteyden muodostamiseen asetusten synkronointia, varmuuskopiointia ja toisena viestintätyhteytenä.

Verkon tila (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Käytetään tarkistamaan, onko laite yhteydessä internetiin ennen FTP-toimintojen aloittamista.
3. Tietojen tallennus ja suojaus
Kaikki sovelluksen asetukset, kuten laitteiden nimet, puhelinnumerot ja FTP-yhteysasetukset, tallennetaan paikallisesti laitteen suojattuun muistiin.
Tietoturva: Arkaluontoiset tiedot, kuten FTP-salasanat, suojataan Androidin EncryptedSharedPreferences-tekniikalla. Tämä tarkoittaa, että tiedot on salattu vahvalla AES-256-salauksella suoraan laitteen tasolla, eivätkä muut sovellukset pääse niihin käsiksi.
4. Tietojen jakaminen kolmansille osapuolille
Sovellus ei sisällä mainoksia, seurantatyökaluja (kuten Google Analytics) tai muita kolmannen osapuolen kirjastoja, jotka keräisivät tietoja. Tietoja ei myydä, vuokrata tai jaeta eteenpäin. Ainoa tiedonsiirto tapahtuu käyttäjän itse määrittämän FTP-palvelimen ja sovelluksen välillä.

Käyttäjällä on täysi hallinta sovellukseen tallennettuihin tietoihin:
