Privacy Policy – OpticGym

OpticGym does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us. The app works entirely on your device; an internet connection is only needed for the subscription purchase and store review prompt described below.
What data does OpticGym collect?
None. OpticGym does not collect any personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, or any other data about you or your device. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising IDs, and no tracking of any kind built into the app.
What permissions does OpticGym use, and why?
Internet access — used exclusively for two things handled entirely by Google: processing your subscription through Google Play Billing, and (occasionally) showing the Google Play in-app review prompt. OpticGym itself never sends any of your data over this connection; both are handled directly by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy.
Does OpticGym use the internet for anything else?
No. Outside of Google Play Billing and the Play in-app review prompt, OpticGym does not make any network requests. The app's core functionality — every eye exercise, your settings, streaks and progress — works completely offline and never leaves your device.
Does OpticGym share data with third parties?
No. Since OpticGym does not collect any data, there is nothing to share. The only third party involved at all is Google Play, which processes the subscription purchase and the review prompt under its own privacy policy.
Where are your settings and progress stored?
Your exercise settings (speed, colour, duration), streaks, weekly activity and subscription status are stored locally on your device only, using Android's standard app storage (DataStore). This data never leaves your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
Medical disclaimer
OpticGym is a training and relaxation tool for the eyes. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any medical condition, and does not replace an eye doctor.
Children's privacy
OpticGym does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL (and in the app under "About") with a new "Last updated" date.
