Optic Tool ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email Address: To identify your account and allow login.
- Shop Name / User Name: To personalize your experience and display your information in calculations.
B. Authentication
We use Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication to manage user accounts. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
C. App Usage & Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., app crashes, feature usage). We also track basic interactions, such as the number of times you perform a calculation ("Calculate Clicks") and your last login time, to improve app functionality and monitor system performance. This data is linked to your account but is used strictly for internal analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Optic Tool calculator services.
- To save your "Shop Name" and "User Name" in our database (Firestore Datdabase) so they appear on your profile and calculations.
- To allow you to update your User Name and Shop Name at any time through the Profile screen within the App.
- To allow you to access your data across different devices.
- To understand how users interact with our features (e.g., calculation frequency) in order to improve user experience.
3. Data Storage and Security
All your data (Email, User Name, Shop Name, Usage Stats) is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. We do not sell or share your personal data with any third parties.
4. Permissions
Our app may request the following permissions:
- Internet Access: Required to authenticate your account, sync your data, and connect to Firebase services.
- Storage / Photos: To save calculation results as an image on your device when you tap "Save." Internet access may also be used when sharing results via third-party apps using the "Share" feature.
5. Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can do this within the App by going to Profile > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your email and all associated data from our systems.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
