Who We Are

Jennie Jiang

Hi everyone, my name is Jennie. I am an ETEC 522 Student and Ed Tech Market Analyst.  I have been an Academic Advisor in higher education for many years. Recently, I became a Subject Matter Expert for UBC's Workday transition.  Throughout my career in higher education, I've seen and experienced many ed tech transitions. The Masters of Educational Technology program is helping me gain new perspectives on what the future could be for education. 

Rich Payne

Thanks for reading!  My name is Rich, I am currently an ETEC 522 Student and Ed Tech Market Analyst.  I work in the education sector as a Manager of a k-12 International Program.  It gives me great joy to bring opportunities to students around the world.  Market data and internal data analysis is an important part of data-led strategic decision making in my field.  Technology is changing the way we work, learn and teach.  I hope you enjoy this look at Big Data and Learning Analytics in Education

Hello, my name is Sam. Currently, I am a student in the ETEC 522 at UBC. I work full-time as a curriculum designer. My interests within education, which were heavily influenced by my undergraduate degree in Adult Education,  are in informal learning and public pedagogies. I have completed a Master of Education from Brock University and am looking forward to remaining committed to being a life-long learner.
