Over the past three years, the department has evolved to provide state-of-the-art, premium-quality eye care. This progress has been achieved through highly trained faculty & staff, tailored innovative solutions, and the use of advanced technology and equipment.

Welcome to the Ophthalmology Department at Govt. Omandurar Medical College. Since its inception in 2016, our department has grown into a referral centre, providing high-quality eye care with state-of-the-art technology and skilled faculty. We offer comprehensive ophthalmic medical and surgical services in all subspecialities, ensuring top-tier care for all our patients.

In line with NMC norms, our department is fully equipped with trained faculty and infrastructure to support both medical education and patient care. Over the years, our academic and research initiatives in the field of ophthalmology have flourished, positioning us to introduce postgraduate courses in the near future.
