Granite Peak

Granite Peak is a metonym that refers both to the physical location where Project SANDMAN is presumed to maintain its headquarters and the concept of "the central office" – the mysterious governing body that directs the Project's activities throughout the United States and the world. It takes its name from Granite Peak Installation, a biological weapons testing site that occupies about 250 square miles of the Dugway Proving Ground outside Salt Lake City, Utah.
