Read about the types and structures of addition and subtraction problems from the Guide to Effective Instruction K-6: Teaching Basic Facts and Multi-Digit Computation, Vol 5.

Generate a problem for each problem structure. Feel free to use a range of number systems (integers, fractions, whole numbers) to differentiate for different grades.

Record your problems in Section 1.3 of your digital handout.
