Operation Diomedes I

Operation Diomedes I consists of three episodes of Sigillum Multarum, talking about the national flag of Russia. It was originally meant to be a singular episode for release on September 16, 2021, a day before the Russian federal elections. However, due to the topic of the national flag of Russia being such a broad topic, it eventually became three episodes, complete with their own trailer.

• Operation Diomedes I Trailer: released on December 12, 2021, it announced the impending release of Operation Diomedes I.

  • Its release was deliberately timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Russian Federation.

• Sigillum Multarum Episode 16: Flag of Russia Part 1: Early History (1552-1896): released on December 13, 2021, it talks of the history of Russian flags from 1552 until 1896,

  • the video also compressed 300 years of history into just under 10 minutes of video.

• Sigillum Multarum Episode 17: Flag of Russia Part 2: The Modern Era (1900-present): released on the 14th, it talks of the history of Russian flags from the beginning of the 20th century until today.

• Sigillum Multarum Episode 18: Flag of Russia Part 3: Symbolism and Legacy: released on December 19 (after a 4-day delay, due to final editing), it talks of the symbolism behind the modern Russian flag, as well as its influence on other flags.
