Malcolm Schelin is the Founder and Senior Pastor of OpenTable Fellowship. Born in Oregon and raised in Central Texas, Malcolm has experienced a variety of churches and Christian denominations, giving him a deep appreciation for the unity of the body of Christ. He has a heart for helping people, building authentic community, and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone he meets. Through OpenTable Fellowship, Malcolm is passionate about creating a welcoming place where people can grow in their faith, find hope, and experience God's love regardless of their background.

Jason Morgan

Associate Pastor

Interesting fact: Jason loves sharks and has gone diving with them many times

Jason Morgan serves as the Associate Pastor of Open Table Fellowship, working alongside the Senior Pastor to support the ministry's mission and help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through faith, discipleship, and community.

Born in Bennington, Vermont, Jason moved with his family to Nelson Bay, New South Wales, Australia, at the age of five before returning to the United States at seventeen. He is passionate about serving others, encouraging believers in their faith, and helping build a welcoming community centered on Christ.

Bronson Braden

Executive Director

Interesting fact: Bronson is blind in one eye but can see better than most people with two eyes.

Though Bronson was born in Arkansas, he has spent the majority of his life in Mississippi. First and foremost, Bronson is a proud husband and father, and his family means everything to him.When it comes to his hobbies and downtime, Bronson is both creative and social. He enjoys podcasting, gaming, and spending time catching up with others whenever he can. He also appreciates life's simple pleasures, often enjoying a beautiful day outdoors or firing up the grill to share good food and fellowship with family and friends.

Caleb Kinkead

Director of Operations

Caleb K. serves as the Director of Operations for Open Table Fellowship, overseeing the ministry’s day-to-day operations and organizational needs. He works alongside the leadership team to ensure ministry programs, events, and outreach efforts run smoothly while supporting the mission and vision of the fellowship. Through his leadership, technical skills, and dedication to service, Caleb helps create a strong foundation for ministry growth and community impact.

Jeriel Lowe

Board Member

Jeriel faithfully serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Open Table Fellowship. She previously served as our Community Pastor, faithfully investing in the lives of others through her leadership, encouragement, and heart for ministry. While life circumstances led her to step away from that pastoral role for a season, she continues to support the ministry through her service on the Board of Directors.We are grateful for Jeriel's dedication, wisdom, and commitment to Open Table Fellowship. She is hopeful that one day she will be able to return to serving in a pastoral role, and we look forward to welcoming her back whenever that time comes.

Preston and Gabriela Barton have a deep love for Jesus Christ and a heart for serving others. Together, they faithfully serve at their local church, using their gifts to encourage, support, and disciple those around them. As mentors, they are passionate about investing in people's lives, helping them grow in their faith and develop a deeper relationship with Christ.Whether through their ministry, their family, or everyday interactions, Preston and Gabriela strive to reflect God's love, grace, and truth in everything they do. Their desire is to see others experience the hope, purpose, and transforming power found in Jesus Christ.

John Humphries

Missionary

John Humphries is a passionate minister of the Gospel with decades of experience serving the Lord. After faithfully serving as a senior pastor for many years, he now follows God's call as an Assemblies of God missionary to Ireland. His heart is to share the hope of Jesus Christ, strengthen local churches, equip believers, and reach people with the life-changing message of the Gospel. John is dedicated to seeing lives transformed through God's love and faithfully serving wherever God leads.

Grant Callahan

Choreographer & Musician

Grant is a choreographer, dancer, and musician with a passion for creativity, excellence, and serving others. He has dedicated his talents to inspiring people through the arts while using every opportunity to glorify God. His heart is to encourage others, build meaningful relationships, and use his creative gifts to make a positive impact in the lives of those around him.Whether leading, performing, or serving behind the scenes, Grant strives to reflect Christ's love through everything he does. His passion for ministry and the arts continues to inspire others to pursue their God-given purpose with faith, creativity, and excellence.

Luke Ortega

Missionary

Luke Ortega was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He is a missionary with a heart for sharing the love of Jesus Christ and serving people wherever God calls him. His passion is to see lives transformed through the hope of the Gospel and to encourage others in their walk with Christ.Outside of ministry, Luke has an adventurous spirit. He enjoys skateboarding, skydiving, and embracing opportunities to experience God's creation in exciting ways. Whether serving on the mission field or pursuing his hobbies, Luke strives to live with faith, purpose, and a desire to point others to Jesus.

Jeff Burke

Business owner/Musician

Jeff Burke spent part of his childhood in Caracas, Venezuela, and Mexico City before returning to the United States at age 15. Those experiences gave him a deep love for people and a belief that everyone deserves love, dignity, and respect.Jeff is passionate about living with integrity, building genuine friendships, and keeping Christ at the center of every part of life. He has a heart for serving incarcerated men and women, encouraging them with the hope and grace found in Jesus Christ.Outside of ministry, Jeff enjoys caring for his cats, tending his rosebushes, playing drums with the Texas City Revelators , and spending time with his church family at Glad Tidings.His life is guided by a simple truth: God is good every day, friendships are forever, and with Jesus at the center, all things are possible.

Sarah Bennett

Screenwriter

Interesting Fact: Sarah has visited all 50 U.S. states.

Sarah was Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Sarah has always had a heart for ministry and outreach. She enjoys reading, hiking, serving in her local church, and spending time with family and friends. Her desire is to see people experience the love of Christ and grow in a deeper relationship with Him.

Interesting Fact: Matt was born in Europe.

Matt works as an EMT and firefighter. He enjoys sports, fishing, and just about anything that gets him outdoors. He is currently working toward either becoming a career firefighter or earning his paramedic certification.

Matt is also a proud pet owner. He has a dog and a cat that he affectionately considers his kids.
