Open & NetworkedLearning

In this session, you will be introduced to a wide variety of learning opportunities that expand learning environments by connecting learners to learning happening outside the classroom walls.

This session will begin with an overview of some current examples of open learning networks like wikipedia, citizen science and open learning communities.

Then using the examples, you will connect Alberta Education competencies with the Programs of Study.

Finally, you will connect your own personal learning contexts with a learning network.
