We are thrilled that you’re interested in becoming part of the Kiwanis Club of Opelika! Founded in 1920, our club has become one of East Alabama’s most cherished civic organizations, driven by a commitment to serve children and support our community—one child and one community at a time. Each year, we work together to raise and donate funds that support local families, non-profits, and children in need. As a Kiwanian, you’ll find rewarding volunteer opportunities and join a community of like-minded people who believe in making a lasting impact.
Our legacy is one of leadership and community transformation. Many past members have included Opelika’s most dedicated “movers and shakers,” including former mayors, city council members, judges, local and state representatives, and prominent business leaders who have made a mark on our city. Together, we’ve been honored to champion meaningful projects over the past century, such as the beautiful Band Stand in Municipal Park, formerly known as Monkey Park, and many many others around our great community! We would be delighted to welcome you into this legacy of service, fellowship, and lasting positive change. Thank you again for considering the Kiwanis Club of Opelika—you’ll be in great company!
