I'm interested in trying this modpack out with a buddy of mine, but starting the server generates a normal world, not the special world for the modpack. Generating a single player world and putting it into the server folder doesn't help, either, because it spawns you in an empty world with just a bedrock layer and nowhere near the stuff you're supposed to start with.
I have been reading more on JNDI in tomcat and I have read from multiple resources that the factory attributed is required. They say its often supposed to be "org.apache.tomcat.jdbc.pool.DataSourceFactory". However, most often I see something like this -

But you do have a couple of options to recover. Since there's no PS/2 port on this line of servers, I guess keyboard input doesn't work. Is there an OS loaded already? Are you suuuure that your keyboard/KVM switch is known-good?
Actually, Your External USB keys were set to disable, its very simple to fix: remove the cover from your DL360PG8, plug your USB keyboard into the single USB port located "on the motherboard" in front of the power supplies, power up server & wait for F9 BIOS setting to come up at the end of post, here you will be able to get into the F9 settings command from your keyboard, at the 1st drop down menu in the F9 menu click "SYSTEM OPTIONS", scroll down 3 lines to "USB Options" & click, 1st option in the box will be "USB Control" & click on it, a gray box will open with 2 options, click on "USB Enable", after hit "Escape key" 3 times to exit and you will be all set. The server is a physical server, so I have access to it, I could install Ubuntu via usb, but that would require me to bring a monitor to the other room, and access the hdmi port on the Gpu, which is very difficult, because the server is heavy and it has to be removed from its place. Can I somehow get a new install of ubuntu server running from ssh?
I set up a sky factory server on my computer for my friends and me to log onto whenever. I set up the TCP and UDP ports on my Netgear Orbi router (separately, just in case) using my desktop's local IP address. I added exceptions to windows firewall to allow inbound traffic on the server ports, and set the firewall to allow all inbound traffic as a rule for domain, private, and public networks. I used Simple Port Tester to make sure the ports to my computer are open, and they are. I don't get any errors when I start of the server. I can connect to it from my desktop, but I have to put in my own local IP (192.168.1.17) because I can't connect using 127.0.0.1 or localhost. I gave my friends the external IP of my router, but whenever they try to connect they get the error "io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: timed out"
So yeah, I'm pretty lost on why this isn't working, and why I can't connect to the server using localhost (was that removed?). Any help would be great, and please explain it like I'm 5 (but like, 5 in the year 2000, not like one of those 5 year olds that make Linux guide videos.)
As a server, you do have to memorize the entire thing. Training at The Cheesecake Factory is hands-down the longest and most rigorous training program I've been through at any job, let alone a serving position.

I decided to change the network settings and began by deleting the "factory" DNS server. I added two new DNS servers based on the suggestion of an article I read... Anyway I basically want to know what the DNS server should be so that I can undo the changes I made.
Most home routers will tell connected machines the correct DNS server to use. I suggest you make a note of the current ones & then delete them. Disconnect & reconnect your network. You should see grey values if the router is providing a default DNS server.
