Purpose:
This workshop brings together researchers working across active matter, pattern formation, topological and magnetic materials, molecular motors and active solids, mechanical metamaterials, and soft robotics. By exploring the shared principles behind collective dynamics, emergent structures, and functionality in nonequilibrium matter, it aims to inspire new connections and collaborations across these rapidly evolving fields. The workshop is organized by the KAKENHI Transformative Research Area (A), “Dynamical Materials Science.”
The workshop consists of 2 keynote lectures and 7 invited talks.
