I am interested in Phonetics and Phonology, basically language description. Language documentation and corpus creation serve as resource. I have a longstanding interest in Benue-Congo languages, especially Igboid languages and Gbari, a Nupoid language. Other areas of interest include topics in sociolinguistics.

I teach Corpus Linguistics, Practical Phonetics and Phonology in the Department of Linguistics, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.
