I contracted both local and Chinese companies to have original artworks mass-produced then shipped to and sold in the USA both on www.amazon.com and www.startthera.com. This business venture currently serves as a source of passive income.
The educational experience garnered while earning my MBA, as well as 8 years of experience building databases, helped me plan and execute a small business without the help of professionals. I was able to build the company website from scratch, and set up ecommerce and PayPal services. Additionally, I personally run all business related accounting, and file quarterly taxes.
2009-2013 Personnel Management Supervisor (S1 NCOIC): Served as the Senior Human Resources Sergeant for the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC), Fort Knox KY, consisting of 400 personnel. Responsible for planning, directing, and managing all HR functions in the unit. Supervised and managed the processing and tracking of all Personnel Actions, Awards, NCOERs, Promotions, Suspension of Favorable Actions, Leaves and Passes, and Military Pay. Responsible for timely Personnel Accounting and Strength Reporting. In charge of Accountability and readiness of all assigned and attached personnel, to include direct supervision of one NCO and three soldiers. Deployed to Afghanistan early to set up a personnel shop for the unit, and returned late after pushing out personnel back to the states. Received leadership awards and commendations from the Unit Commander.
2008-2009 Assistant Chief of Staff Manager (G1 NCO): Administrative supervisor in the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC), while deployed to Afghanistan. Responsible for managing, reviewing, and processing all Awards in theater. Assisted with strength accounting and management of approximately 7,000 Soldiers. Monitored personnel gains and losses. Supervised and mentored three soldiers. Received awards and commendation from the G1 NCOIC, for being an indispensable member of the G1 awards team.
