I am an Assistant Professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid and an affiliated researcher at the University of Gothenburg. My research focuses on economic history, particularly trade, agriculture, and migration.

I earned my PhD from the Carlos III University of Madrid and held a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Gothenburg, where I worked on the project Turning the Gears of Progress: Examining the Effects on Skills and Employment of the Technological Landscape of Post–World War II Sweden.
