I am an Assistant Professor of Economic History at the Autonomous University of Madrid and an Affiliated Researcher at the University of Gothenburg. My research focuses on trade, labor markets, and migration, drawing primarily on novel historical microdata.

I earned my PhD from Carlos III University of Madrid and held a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Gothenburg, where I remain a research fellow on the project Turning the Gears of Progress.
