Zaire Collier’s “OnTheLine” Podcast Provides Platform For Black Voices And Stories - UC Davis AthleticsOn the line is exactly where UC Davis football's Zaire Collier spends his days, up front as the leader of the Aggie offensive line. It's also the name of his podcast, which is in the process of evolving into a platform where Collier can spread stories not just about black student-athletes but black figures within the community. It started as a chance for Collier to talk ball with some connections he had within the football community. But, over time his podcast morphed into something more, and it's just the start of where Collier feels it could go. Since then Collier has expanded past just athletes as the opportunity to be a platform for black voices began to take shape.

Four UC Davis Student-Athletes Attend the Black Student-Athlete Summit in Chicago - UC Davis AthleticsDAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis Athletics participated in the 10th Annual Black Student-Athlete Summit, held May 21-24 at Chicago's McCormick Place Convention Center. Launched in 2015 by Dr. Leonard N. Moore, the George Littlefield Professor of American History at the University of Texas at Austin, the event has become the premier professional development gathering for Black collegiate athletes. This year's summit drew over 1,700 Black student-athletes, administrators, coaches and industry leaders nationwide, marking its first Chicago hosting and largest attendance to date.
