Open up google my maps

Change untitled layer to YYYYMMDD_username

Click 'draw a line' below the search bar

Select 'add line or shape'

Construct a polygon

Name the polygon based on its category (Chance, Likely, Outbreak)

Select style to change the colour

Left click layer options

Click 'export data' on the drop down menu

Select KML/KMZ

Hit download on the popup, do NOT check-off any of options

Name the file with the following format: YYYYMMDD_username
