Owner & Photographer

I began my photography journey in 2015, and by 2016, I had my first camera in hand. Since then, my passion for capturing people and their stories has only grown, with a focus on dance photography and portrait sessions.

Photography wasn’t always my chosen path. Before realizing my dream job was behind the lens, I explored many different career aspirations — from professional dancer to forensic scientist to therapist — until I found my way back to photography. Today, I aim to create a space where everyone feels comfortable to be their true selves, so I can capture their joy, personality, and unique essence.

On Route Photography is now a part-time, weekend-based business, shaped by generosity and a heart for serving others. 

The support and opportunities I’ve received since launching On Route Photography have been incredible, and I can’t wait to see how this next chapter unfolds.

A few fun facts about me:

• I prefer to be behind the camera, not in front of it.

• I have a German Shepherd named Ellie, affectionately called Ellie Bellie!

• I danced throughout middle and high school and was a member of two dance teams.

Tommy

Second Shooter & Nature Man

By day, you’ll find him under the hood of a Toyota—Tommy’s a full-time Toyota mechanic who’s all about solving problems and keeping things running smoothly. But every once in a while, he trades in his tools for a camera and steps in as a second shooter. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, he brings a fresh perspective and a laid-back energy to every shoot.

Tommy's always had a soft spot for the quirky side of life. He’s been collecting weird and wonderful trinkets for years. When he’s not working, he’s usually hanging out with our dog, catching reruns of The Big Bang Theory or Friends, or diving into something completely new.

Even though photography isn’t his main hustle, Tommy brings genuine heart to every session or event he’s a part of. He’s there to catch the in-between moments—the real, raw, and joyful ones that make a photo unforgettable.

A few fun facts about Tommy:

• He can fix your car and photograph your event— just not on the same day.

• His trinket collection includes everything from keychains to pop figures to cups.

• Our dog is his best buddy and constant sidekick.

• He’s seen Friends and The Big Bang Theory more times than he can count—and still laughs every time.
