About Me
I am a passionate researcher, driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a positive impact. With a background in machine learning, software engineering and cybersecurity, I am committed to pushing boundaries and driving innovation.
I hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer engineering from University of Michigan - Dearborn. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation and a curious mindset that fuels my continuous learning.My primary research area is the application of Machine Learning/Deep Learning in cyber security.
Currently, I am working as a Cybersecurity Engineer in the R&D team of Valeo, a renowned automotive supplier tech company. Mostly, I work with advanced driver assistant systems (ADAS, LiDAR).
Prior starting my PhD, I worked in the software industry as a software engineer for nearly 4 years. I worked on several products and contributed to the team by building furnished product and meeting customers needs. I also have 2 U.S. internships under my belt.

2nd October, 2023, joined Ford Motor Company as Software Development Engineer.
19th July, 2023, successfully defended Ph.D.
15th May, 2023, started working as Cybersecurity Engineer in LiDAR R&D team, Valeo North America.
8th September, 2022, our article titled "MACHINE LEARNING FOR AUTOMOTIVE CYBERSECURITY: CHALLENGES, OPPORTUNITIES AND FUTURE DIRECTION" got published as a Book chapter in Springer Part of the Lecture Notes in Intelligent Transportation and Infrastructure book series (LNITI).
20th June, 2022, our paper titled "DISTILLING FACIAL KNOWLEDGE WITH TEACHER-TASKS: SEMANTIC-SEGMENTATION-FEATURES FOR POSE-INVARIANT FACE-RECOGNITION" got accepted at IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP 2022).
15th May, 2022, Started working as a Vehicle Cybersecurity Intern (Ph.D.) with Block Harbor Cybersecurity.
3rd January, 2022, our paper titled "A Lightweight Intrusion Detection System for CAN Protocol Using Neighborhood Similarity" got accepted at 7th conference on Conference on Data Science and Machine Learning Applications (CDMA 2022). [Paper Link]

21st December, 2020, became PhD Candidate.
2nd December, 2020, presented to a workshop "Cybersecurity of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles: Challenges & Opportunities" organized by Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) link .

6th April, 2020, my first article has been accepted in Springer Nature Journal of Transportation Security (JTRS) as a Paper. The title is: "Improving CAN Bus Security by Assigning Dynamic Arbitration IDs".
4th February, 2020, Got an offer as a Data Science Summer Intern with Ford Motor Company.
5th September'2018, started fall semester to pursue PhD at University of Michigan Dearborn, USA.

14th April'2018, Got admission in the program PhD. in Electrical & Computer Engineering at University of Michigan - Dearborn, USA with full funding from the university.
1st October'2015, Joined RedQ Inc as Software Engineer.

31st December'2015, Became CSE graduate from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh.
