Transportation is the movement of material across the Earth's surface by water, wind, ice or gravity. It includes the physical processes of traction (dragging), suspension (being carried) and saltation (bouncing) and the chemical process of solution.
Materials are dissolved in water and carried along by water.
The suspended particles are carried by a medium ( air, water, or ice )
Particles move by rolling, sliding, and shuffling along eroded surface. These occur in all erosional agents
Particles move from the surface to the medium in quick, repeated cycles. The repeated cycles has enough force to death new particles.
