I flew into Minsk at the beginning of October and was on one of the only two flights arriving on that day. I was eligible for a 30-day visa-free as long as I enter and exit the country through Minsk International airport. I booked a $19 room in a shared apartment with a window overlooking the train passed by. The first 48 hours of my solo travel were merely observing and absorbing this new environment. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous or anxious about coming to Belarus. I sensed fear in me, from the news that I consumed while researching and the uncertainty that came along with it. While fear is important to keep us alert, I know that every country has different layers to unravel. Through my solo travel, I hope to showcase the other side of Belarus. "Go to Belarus" travel guide: https://34travel.me/gotobelarus/en ABOUT ME: Hello there, welcome to this channel! I am an Indonesian female solo traveler, who started solo traveling in 2013. After working for the government till 2016, I left Indonesia to pursue full-time traveling and to document myself as I explore different cultures as a solo female. Having initially traveled for 5 months throughout Asia, I moved to China in January 2017 for an English teaching job, which was my first experience living abroad. Since leaving China in 2018, I have taken the move to become a full-time YouTube creator and traveler. I strive to create unique, culture-driven content and capture authentic interactions as I travel. --

Join my lovely Patreon community for behind-the-scenes content!   / syifaadriana   Join me as I travel towards Uzbekistan's border through the Fann mountains of Tajikistan. Solo travel can still be nerve-racking for me, especially negotiating with taxi drivers! I also meet lovely locals to show me around the border town of Panjakent. #solofemale #centralasia #tajikistan #dushanbe #solotravel #silkroad #roadtrip #femaletraveller ALL THE SILK ROAD VIDEOS: https://tinyurl.com/yhb7vxnc My website: https://www.syifaadriana.com/ Instagram:   / syifaadriana   DIFFERENT WAYS TO SUPPORT THESE VIDEOS: • Don't skip the ads! :) • PAYPAL: https://www.paypal.me/syifaadrianaa • FILMING EQUIPMENT: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/syifaad...
