Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our online worship service and how it can benefit your church
1. How much does it cost to set up this service?
We offer multiple subscription levels to accommodate the varying needs of churches. Each level provides different tools and resources to help you extend your reach within the community. For detailed information on the available options, resources, and pricing, please visit our Contact Us page to set up an orientation call.
2. Can you adjust the time of the online service on Sunday to better fit our church’s schedule?
Unfortunately, at this time, we can only offer the service at one scheduled time on Sundays: 3:00 PM Pacific Time, 5:00 PM Central Time, and 6:00 PM Eastern Time. We chose this time to maximize our efforts and ensure the highest number of churches can benefit. While we understand most churches have their largest attendance on Sunday mornings, offering our service in the late afternoon or early evening can provide additional flexibility. This allows English-speaking members to attend their regular services and then assist with this ministry without conflicts.
However, one of our subscription tiers does include the option to record the service. This means that if the scheduled time does not work for your church, you can choose this level of service and play the recording at a convenient time for you and your Spanish-speaking attendees.
3. Why not encourage people to watch the online service from their homes instead of streaming it a building?
Our online worship services are designed not only to inspire and educate attendees but also to help churches build ministries and establish relationships within their communities. Having Spanish-speaking individuals attend the service at your church building helps foster connections and allows your church to serve and integrate these individuals into your church community over time. While watching from home is technically possible, the community aspect and personal connections are significantly enhanced when people gather at the building.
4. Is a long-term commitment required to enroll in this program?
No long-term commitment is required. Churches can sign up on a month-to-month basis. For more details on how to get started, the pricing, and any other commitments, please visit our Contact Us page.
5. Does the online worship service include more than just a message in Spanish?
Yes, our online worship service includes more than just a message from the Bible. The service also features songs, prayers, times for reflection, and observances of the Lord’s Supper and the offering. Churches that subscribe to the service can take advantage of all these elements or choose to integrate some of their own worship activities, creating a combination that best suits their congregation. For more details, please visit our Contact Us page.
6. What is the advantage of subscribing to this service when there are many churches that live stream their worship services over the Internet? Couldn't we just use those services for our people locally?
There are many drawbacks to live streaming other churches' worship services that are held for people in person. When you live stream an event that's being held in person, the people watching the live stream often miss out on something. Our service, OnlineSpanishChurch.com, is not performed in person; it is an exclusively online experience. The experience is created, geared, and developed with the online congregation in mind. Additionally, live streaming other worship services includes a lot of local information—such as names, people, announcements, and events—that may not be pertinent to the online crowd. With OnlineSpanishChurch.com, the experience is designed specifically for the online audience, without any local distractions, making it more personal and relevant for those watching online.
