A Few Words Before You Begin
Dear Friend,
People often arrive on retreat carrying many things — questions, transitions, joys, losses, longing, uncertainty, or simply a wish to pause and listen more deeply.
There is no "right way" to be on retreat.
Some retreatants experience spaciousness and renewal. Others discover that when life becomes quieter, feelings or questions that have long been waiting gently come to the surface. Sometimes clarity comes immediately; sometimes it unfolds quietly over time.
Trust your own rhythm.
These retreat days are not about striving or accomplishing something. They are an invitation to create enough spaciousness that deeper listening becomes possible.
Be gentle with yourself.
Walk outside if needed. Rest when tired. Journal. Sit quietly. Allow silence. Prepare simple nourishing meals. Follow the rhythm that supports your unfolding.
Although we meet online rather than in person, we enter a shared retreat container during these days. You are not entirely alone.
I look forward to accompanying you.
With warm blessings,
Saki Lee
